Morning everyone, it being Christmas Eve I am going to keep it short and sweet for ya. I wanted to make a little links list to keep you busy while everyone celebrates the Holiday’s. I had a pretty busy weekend as I had to finish my Christmas shopping and also track my fantasy players because it was championship weekend. (Diego is one MNF game away taking home 1st place and a nice cash prize)
Sunday was a good day for the Lers since the Bungals did their job and beat the Brownies, giving us the AFC North crown. Next up for Steeler Nation, cheering on the Denver Broncos in hopes that the Chargers will lose, and the Steelers will solidify their position as the number 3 seed in the AFC playoff picture. (Meaning we’d get to play the Brownies or Titans instead of the Jaguars) Alright that’s all I got hope everyone has a good holiday with their loved ones…
The Pens ended the weekend 1-1 after one win against Boston and loss against the Islanders...

Hossa would look sweet beside Sid, but I'm not sure that we can afford him - I believe this is the last year of his contract, and unless they move a couple of up and comers, we may be pushing the budget. Another link had Fleury for Ollie the goalie. Shero may need a another keeper, but geez, not one that's older the dirt. I think Therrien is the most likely Pen to get lopped from the roster, although I like the fact that Shero is looking.
you never know though, the cap does go up every year and with us getting that new arena money shouldn't/better not be a problem and we do need a goal scoring threat...but you're right, the fact that Shero is actually doing something unlike old drunk Craig Patrick is a good sign...
